♥♥♥ Check out this discussion on "The Ooze," an emerging church website that, unfortunately, many post-modern "Christian" churches link to. This discussion starts out with a girl treasuring her grandmother's rosary beads for sentimental reasons, and ends with others chiming in about their own beads they use as aids for contemplative prayer. This demonstrates where the emerging conversations end up taking the Evangelical Church -- backwards into the Dark Ages of Catholicism and its rituals and outward form of religion. By the end of the conversation these emerging Protestants are ready to rejoin what they refer to as the "Mother Church." They even go so far as to look to the pope for his "wisdom" on contemplation. . ♥♥♥ |
