Conferences in Search of Victims |
||
|
This week I have received invites to
conferences that demonstrate just how far into the Great Apostasy the
church has descended. I have always said that the spirit of antichrist has
a religious deception custom-made for each and every pilgrim. He is busy
building his counterfeit bride and his propaganda campaign is apparent in
the promotional material for these three events.
Remember, the goal of the Antichrist is to situate himself as the object of our worship and allegiance. He wants God’s people to bow down before him. He will use whatever is in his arsenal to accomplish his grand rebellion and take as many of us as he can with him. Some of his building blocks in creating this Great Whore include convincing religious people:
_____________________________________ This conference I received an invitation to attend was a gathering of today’s notorious false prophets, called "What is God Saying For 2007?" As if they knew! It is sponsored by the Elijah List, an umbrella group for all of today’s most notorious false prognosticators. If you go, watch out for the potential of the ground opening up and swallowing everyone down alive into Sheol.
Stacey Campbell is the "prophetess" who shakes while she speaks first person supposedly from God. She has been documented as teaching that prophecy is only about 50-50 right and wrong. Dutch Sheets and Chuck Pierce are big names in the modern-day Apostles/Prophets movement who are trying to bring in the Latter Rain or Manifested Sons heresies. There will be a lot of spiritual poison served up at this conference. _____________________________________ Another conference where the participants will be reprogrammed to adopt the preterist view of Bible prophecy. The name of this conference is "Are We Living in the Last Days?" This is a deceptive "bait-and-switch" method of attracting Christians who believe that indeed we are in the last days, only to have the rug pulled out from under them by two very cunning deceivers – none other than the "Bible-Answer-Man Hank Hanegraaff" and renown Reconstructionist Gary DeMar. DeMar promotes the idea that Christians are to take over the world, whether or not Jesus said that "My kingdom is not of this world." DeMar says, "If modern day Bible prophecy ‘experts’ are correct that we are living in the ‘Last Days,’ then why bother trying to fix a broken world that is about to be thrown on the ash heap of history? Why concern ourselves with education, healthcare, the economy, or peace in the Mideast? Why polish brass on a sinking ship?…American Vision believes that 'Last Days Madness’ has caused Christians to retreat from the public sphere and has temporarily hindered the Church from making a real impact in America and around the world." However, he doesn’t say this in the promotional material that goes out deceptively causing people to think they’re attending a Bible prophecy conference when they’re paying for an anti-Bible-Prophecy conference.
But what a bargain at only $10.00 per person, but then again it’s only for one evening of entertainment on October 28th at the "Gaylord Opryland" in Nashville, Tennessee. (I wonder if the price includes any gay country entertainers?) This conference is one of many put together by American Vision, the organization of Gary DeMar, known for his anti-rapture, anti-pre-mil stands on Bible Prophecy. American Vision hosts a number of faith-busting events during the year, including a Hawaiian cruise where your expectancy of the Lord’s return can be decimated by the likes of other Reconstructionists like Gary North and D. James Kennedy. And DeMar will make his products available to those who attend and bring their credit cards with them. His resource table will include such classics as his books "End Times Fiction" and "The Left Behind Hoax." Then you could also purchase Hanegraaff’s Preterist fiction, "The Last Disciple," that boasts of single- handedly reclaiming Bible Prophecy for the view that there is no Bible prophecy left to be fulfilled. Buyer Beware! _____________________________________ So that’s it for upcoming conferences. This is a sad commentary on how the church has allowed false teachers to creep in unnoticed. ♥♥♥ "For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain." (Titus 1:10-11)
