My notes from 1995 regarding Harvest on TBN :
Lead singer of band, Steve Wiggins, called "Big Tent Revival" being interviewed by TBN hosts, Dean & Mary Brown.
Wiggins: "My father started taking us to . . . we would drive to Tulsa to see Oral Roberts speak and Rex Humbard, so we saw a lot of crusade events growing up."
Mary Brown: "Well, you've done very well. I see your name splashed in all the magazines and record labels, and we're really proud that we're all on the same team. . . This is our eighth or ninth year to be at Harvest Crusade . . . We are thankful that you guys are out there representing the gospel."
The Harvest Crusade opened and closed with the Praise-the-Lord intro and exit and the TBN logo and phone number were visible throughout. A repeat of "Dominion 95" followed the Harvest Crusade on TBN with special speaker Oral Roberts who propagated his line that his critics are religious leaders who don't believe in miracles. What aired before the Harvest crusade was a Behind the Scenes show with "prophet" Kim Clement. Part of the dialogue went like this:
Matt Crouch: "Well, he (Kim Clement) started singing this song to the children, to this generation. It was a beautiful song . . . In children's church, in an atmosphere -- that's what the kids want. They don't want regular, organized -- Tommy Tenney, ya know, respectfully, he's talking about wrecking church. We don't care what the guy says, we want to feel the power of God."
